Positive Reinforcement & Fear Free Dog Training

My name is Bec Huysse and I have been a dog trainer since 2019. I have worked in the fast paced and challenging shelter environment, teaching group classes and 1-1 training with a range of ages, sizes and behavioural challenges.

I would not be a dog trainer if is wasn't for my own dog, Tyrion. (Pictured right) He is a rescue Staffy x Rottweiler who has struggled with his own behavioural issues. In wanting to make his life better, I discovered a love and interest in dog behaviour, and the rest is history!

2015 I began volunteering at my local animal shelter, working through dog and cat adoptions, rodents, birds and farmyard animals.

2019 I began my dog training journey with RSPCA School for Pets, a well known and highly regarded positive reinforcement dog training company.

2022 I graduated the Companion Animal Sciences Institute with a Diploma of Canine Behaviour, Science and Technology.

2024 I became a Certified Fear Free Animal Trainer and recognised as a Fear Free Professional through Fear Free Pets.
